Starry celebrated the end of May with a special collaboration with the Kogi BBQ truck (popular fusion of Korean BBQ and Mexican tacos) to provide a free meal and deliver a deliciously memorable event for the residents of Koreatown in Los Angeles.

The food truck feast featured their famous short rib tacos and kimchi quesadillas, giving a nod and a twist to traditional cuisine. K-Town, located west of Downtown L.A. and south of Hollywood, is regarded as one of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Parked on the corner of S. Ardmore Ave and San Marino St., the truck was swarmed with hungry residents eager to learn more about Starry (and snack on some tacos).

Starry launched in Los Angeles a little over a year ago and K-Town was one of the first neighborhoods to experience Starry’s superior internet service and customer care. Serving up Kogi’s tacos was our way of saying thank you to our early subscribers and also a great way to meet more folks in the neighborhood. If you’ve ever tried Kogi’s tacos, you know they’re the best - and that’s what we’re striving to be in Los Angeles and beyond.
